Sanctuary in Bloom
I’ve always loved the deep meanings connected to flowers. Here, in this piece I wanted to reflect on hope and love, a symbol of the Hawthorne flower or tree. Celtic lore also calls it the fairy tree with ties to protection. There are literally more than 1000 species of Hawthorne and they can vary widely in appearence. The ones I’ve chosen for this piece reminded me of spring and new life. Set against a dark background, I wanted the light to shine brightly on the soft white blossoms. The original is 16×20 oil on gallery wrapped canvas.
All of my art prints are locally printed and hand inspected, FSC certified (Forest Stewardship Council) and are crafted with archival-quality materials. Showcasing stunning color and intricate details that mirror the depth and beauty of the original paintings. Each piece reflects a dedication to quality and authenticity.
