Front Range in Silver

This painting was a process to create! First I sketched out the mountain range and the tapes it off so I could paint the muted sky and background. Next came the fun but messy application of my silver sheets with a special glue to the canvas. After this dried, I could then start painting on top of the silver leaf, carving out the highlights and valleys of my mountain range. Finally, I could begin adding in light layers of clouds and atmosphere to this piece giving it a modern elegant vibe with the silver shining though. This painting catches the light even in the dark, every angle gives you a different look and light reflection. All originals are signed and come with a certificate of authenticity.
